GRANDPA BABOO'S NEIGHBORHOOD

SENIOR CHUCKLES

"Oh, I sure am happy to see you," The little boy said to his grandmother on his mother's side.  "Now maybe Daddy will do the trick he has been promising us."

The grandmother was curious, "What trick is that?" she asked.

I heard him tell mommy that he would climb the walls if you came to visit," the little boy answered. _____________________________________________________________________________
When my three-year-old son opened the birthday gift from his grandmother, he discovered a water pistol...He squealed with delight and headed for the nearest sink.

I was not so pleased.  I turned to Mom and said, "I'm surprised at you.  Don't you remember how we used to drive you crazy with water guns?"

Mon smiled and then replied... "I remember!"

Two elderly gentlemen from a retirement center were sitting on a bench
under a tree when one turns to the other and says,

"Slim, I'm 83 years old now and I'm just full of aches and pains. I know
you're about my age.  How do you feel?"

Slim says, "I feel just like a new-born baby."

"Really!? Like a new-born baby!?"

"Yep. No hair, no teeth, and I think I just wet my pants."

Little Johnny asked his grandma how old she was

Grandma answered, "39 and holding."

Johnny thought for a moment, and then said, "And how old would you be if you
let go?"

Hospital regulations require a wheelchair for patients being discharged.

However, while working as a student nurse, I found one elderly gentleman
already dressed and sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his feet--who insisted
he didn't need any help to leave the hospital.

After a chat about the rules being rules, he reluctantly let me wheel him to the
elevator.  On the way down I asked him if his wife was meeting him.

"I don't know," he said. "She's still upstairs in the bathroom changing out of her
hospital gown."
